Jacqueline Corman

“Besides a long career as a financial director (CFO) in the private sector,
I attended painting courses for several years. This allowed me to acquire sound technical skills and develop my artistic process.
Then I started a new life. Nowadays, I am very happy to be able to dedicate most of my time to my art creation.
My art world and nature are deeply linked. I believe that nature offers fascinating patterns and inspiring color palettes.
Introducing my discoveries into my fantasy is a thrill. It is a trip that takes me to new lands.
I aim at the fusion of realism and abstraction to let my imagination and feelings emerge.
I love developing structures that give strength to my paintings.
I am passionate about immersing myself in the properties of color to see how each stroke symbolizes light, shadow and form. My desire is to create depth, intensity and even mystery in a harmonious way.
Oil on canvas is my medium of choice. The use of palette knifes brings vitality into my paintings.
I aim at creating art works that captivate the viewers and allow their imagination and emotions to flow”.
