Helga Renders
“Paintings”
Helga Renders is a Belgian visual artist working in painting and sculpture. Her work emerges from an intuitive process in which technique and instinct converge. Themes of transformation, freedom, wonder, and the quiet strength of vulnerability lie at the heart of her practice. Color plays an essential role in her visual language, alongside fluid forms, layered surfaces, and subtle shifts between light and shadow. Helga began painting as a self-taught artist and continues to develop her practice through ongoing training in oil painting and mixed media. In addition, she completed a six-year sculpture program at the Academy of Herentals, graduating in 2025. Her paintings and sculptures have been exhibited in Belgium and abroad and are held in private collections. Helga creates work that invites a personal experience, leaving space for the viewer’s own memories, feelings, and imagination.
Catherine Mentior
“Plongée dans le Grand Bleu”
Belgian painter Catherine Mentior is a self-taught artist who began her creative journey painting watercolor landscapes while pursuing a career in corporate communications for international companies.
In 2020, following a period of burnout, she embarked on a transformative journey, answering the call of her passion and revealing a vibrant world of abstract and impressionist expression through the vivid colors of fluid acrylic paint.
Her works radiate luminous colors, pulsating with energy and intuition. Each canvas invites you to lose yourself in a world of joy—a place where colors sing and evoke the authentic emotions of childhood.
It is in life’s fleeting moments—when sunlight kisses the water or the gentle murmur of a stream soothes the senses—that her art finds its deepest inspiration.
In Catherine’s abstract realm, one can glimpse dancing flames, blossoming flowers, and swirling seaweed performing a joyful dance across the canvas; every stroke is a celebration of light and life.
